Releasing Stored Tension Meditation by Corene Crossin

Like many of us, I've been navigating turbulent waters recently. In the past week I had a misunderstanding with a family member that shook me, and I found myself processing confusion, hurt, and deep layers of old familial patterns. This was taking place in a context of witnessing collective trauma and shock, and supporting my dear clients in my therapy practice too. 

Both my field and nervous system were holding tension from multiple sources at once: personal and family dynamics, and the collective suffering I'd absorbed from the news and social media. So I returned to simple, grounding practices to support myself in returning to a more stable place. 

I created this 30 minute guided meditation to help release what we're carrying, while keeping our clarity and compassion intact. The meditation includes somatic release, energy clearing, and grounding practices to bring the nervous system back to calm.
